PRESS PLAY: Sara Jarosz (w/Punch Brothers) - The Tourist

Sounds like: Distilled awesome witha dash of Punch Brothers and just a smidgen of Radiohead (duh)
Why you should care: ummmmmm.

Given that later today Radiohead is kicking off their world tour down in Florida (w/Other Lives opening!!!) we figured now is as good a time as any to show the band some love in the form of other people showing the band some love.

For those unfamiliar with 20 year old Jarosz's work, this multi-instrumentalist phenom from Texas has already been compared to the likes of Gillian Welch, and has recruited the likes of Chris Thile and Jerry Douglas into her rapidly growing number of collaborators and fans.

On this cover of the closing track from Radiohead's classic record (Is it really a classic already? #old) Ok Computer, Jarosz, along with some help from the Punch Brothers and their special brand of musical mayhem, send the track straight into the outer reaches of the atmosphere, leaving only Jarosz's deliriously delicious voice to ground the song, if only tenuously, to the confines of the planet below.

So check out "The Tourist" and let us know what you think. Then follow the links below to find out everything there is to know about the up and coming musical force of nature that is Sara Jarosz
