Well you learn something new every day! That there on your right is Kenny Rogers, he of Gambler and roasted chicken fame. Apparently before he traversed the islands in a stream to exact his delicious vengeance upon the poultry race, he was in a pretty groovy band. So groovy in fact that the Cohen Brothers saw fit to feature this song in their classic film, The Big Lebowski.
Now I may or may not have found out by entering the search term "Bad 70's Country" into Rdio (like ya do), but the why's and how's of that experience are neither here nor there. The fact remains that this "rediscovered" song sort a rules. That Kenny Rogers was even remotely involved makes it rule even harder.
For the record though, I LOVE bad 70's Country and that's OK dammit.
